Project Type:
Editorial Design
Goal:
Type as Image
Date:
2025
This project is a creative exploration of typography and visual storytelling, where text transforms into a visual focal point rather than just a vehicle for communication. The concept behind type as image challenges traditional editorial design by merging typography with imagery to create dynamic, visually compelling spreads. This approach reimagines how meaning is conveyed, allowing form and content to exist in a fluid, interdependent relationship. The spreads themselves are related to Flesh and Technology as the project explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between the human body and technology, especially in artistic contexts. As technology and the living being continue to merge, this editorial spread delves into how these interludes are represented in contemporary design. The project reflects the integration of the organic and the artificial, highlighting their evolving relationship and inviting viewers to reconsider the distinction between physical and digital forms of expression.
